3:10 pm	Yes, I am once again posting. (for the first time in a long time.) So, basically, my life has not given me the time to post an entry in ages. Here's the lowdown: I am currently in the process of running the first draft production of my original musical: "Good Night, Sleep Tight..." it has been really fun and the cast is AMAZING! they are so talented. I am also taking this production to the Lenaea festival at Sac State University in February! (with an all new cast) however, there are two people who got re-cast into the lenaea production, but they play different parts than they did in the first production. in case you are wondering why i am posting it is because i have no seventh period. Usually during seventh period I go on adventures w/ my friend Kyle, but he's at the dentist, so i am bored out of my mind! I'm at school in the library. so yes that is another little update, me and kyle have a special monday/wednesday/friday relationship. It's fun. I am in the process of recording my first album, which is entitled "Barely Standing" some favorite songs that will be on it are : Rainday, Cinderella, The Song Of Life, Untitled(the one about the girl in the church), and It's You (the purple song) yay! , that's cool.  anywho, i guess that's really all the important stuff. 12:52 pm	it's been a long time well, i've not posted for a very long time. and i finally am. mainly, i've not found the time to. but there are alot of things that i wanna say. first off. I nailed a hole right through my thumb on saturday! right through it! it (suprisingly) didn't hurt that much. but that's no reason to tryit! second, we are finaly on the last weekend of crazy for you. and it's going to be really hard when school gets out.  I mean, i've spent more time with the cast of crazy for you then i have at hom ein the past year, and ive met and made friends with so many really awesomne people! wow. third, i've made a breakthrough with my music. Madeline, you HAVE to come up and hear it!  you will be blown away, no kidding! so most of you know that my dad is really critical of my music. he is a really harsh judge. and the last five compositions he has truely enjoyed and praised. it's so amazing. it's like a door has been opened and now, all i have to do to write a song is sit down and start playing! it is truely on eof the most amazing things! i've crossed a musical bridge and i''m not going back. so, in june i'm going to hollywood to visit my aunt and uncle who both work for the thriving music industry. and i am going to pitch my music to them, i hope they like it. fourth, my friend tessa evans has been signed on as a jazz vocalist, you should all check her website out. just google her name, and it'll be the first one on the list. wow, summer's going to be such a shock when i have all that spare time! 8:53 am	YAY! SO, some of you may be wondering, why is david posting at 9:00 on a friday morning? well, the answer to that grand question is: IT IS THE FIRST SNOW DAY THIS YEAR!!!!!!!! YAY! and the funny thing is, it's not even snowing! in fact, it is slightly overcast and sunny outside, not a single snowflake to be seen.  but, whatever, i'm not complaining. now that thats out of the way i have one more bit of great news: IT IS MICHAEL CHRISTENSEN'S BIRTHDAY TODAY! isn't that grand! two great things in just one day!   so basically Crazy For You is well underway.  yesterday we did a runthrough of act one, and it was fantastic.  boys next door is over, *tears* but thats okay, because now i can finally sleep! I am very content now, and am pleased with my grades, which is not something that i often feel. another thing is that my musical got pushed back to my senior year... at first i was a little upset, but then i thought about it and it is really for the better.  now it will not only be amazing, it will be AMAZING!  and i have finally finished the score and i have finally written more peppy fun and silly songs for it!   I absolutely love Tomei for giving me this oppotunity to really try something new and to put my compsing skills  to the test. he is really an amazing teacher.  and it's kinda weird calling him my teacher.(those of you who know him kinda know what i'm talking about) yea, it's really not the teacher kinda vibes that i get from him, but... whatever, now i'm rambling. so all of you better come see Crazy For You!, and then Chicago! 8:24 pm	GAHHAHAHHHAHAHAAAA!!!! I am SSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED! SO, today I had a little bit of down time between 7th period and Crazy For You rehearsal.  so i decieded to hang out in the drama room, where I was talking to Tomei, and eventually our conversation got to my musical. (i had given him the scene outline a couple weeks ago.) and I told him how much progress I had made, and he seemed genuinely impressed! but that's not hte cool part - the cool part it that he told me that If I finished it over the summer, then I could direct the production of it NEXT YEAR!!!! as in MY JUNIOR YEAR, as in 2008!!!!!!!! I AM SO FREAKING EXCITED!!!!!!!  and next week i'm giving him a copy of all the music that i have written so far, and i'm gonna play him some of it on the piano! it's gonna be crazy!!! , but i still haven't figured out a name for it...     oh well! 7:51 pm	I've finally got the play underway. So, basically, me and mary, (i mean Mary and I) are pretty much the coolest people ever! On sunday night at 11:30 I sat down to write the scene sketch of my musical, which might be named either "losing it all" "waiting" or actually, those names suck, I think that everyone who reads this should leave a comment saying what they think the name should be. But anyway, I am so excited about this play because it is going to be AMAZING!!!!! because, the musical score already is, and the story will just have to keep up with it. Good news for all of us is this: I have successfully removed the "batboy" essence that was starting to creep into it, and now it starts out very nice and cute, and it has several humorous parts. Mary is going to write out the first draft of the script which i will then edit and add to. We will then go back and forth until we are pleases with the end result, which I will then give to Tomei to read and get his feedback. But unfortunately one of the scene sketches found it's way into his hands (from my hands) and he has read it, and i wanted to just spring this full-blown musical at him, but, alas, it is too late, so i might as well just get on with it. Especially when it needs plenty of work. But, i think that it will all be okay. I just don't want Tomei to be thinking that i am a complete weirdo. I know that he will be nice and tell me that's it's great or something like that, but inside he will be thinking "wow, this kids a freak!" yea.... well, I guess i'll live though, you know , life goes on and all that crap... but it is going to be abosolutely amazing and i am so ecited that i'm going to listen to the soundtrack. 10:22 pm	I had great music anyway, and then some so, since i am grounded (curse you, parents), i was really bumbed out that i couln't go to madsy's concert.  but, it is still okay because instead, me and michael taylor jammed for like three hours on friday nught, and it was amazing. he has just bought (as in within the hour) the sexiest electric guitar anyone will ever see, and so we just had to try it out. (it was priced at $900, but it was half off!) so we played a great oldie (breakfast at tiffany's) and had a sweet improv. piano solo in the middle and also great harmonies, and then we moved on to other great original compositions of yours truly. (and mike) IT WAS AMAZING!!!!! i dont think that i have ever got that into my music before, it was like a bonding of the voice and the soul! by the way here is another recent song, and it has a killer melody: Erased Away Please erase my life.  just blow the dust away. Yes, i know that it is ridiculously depressing, but it is beautiful when you hear it performed.  And the reason that I wrote "why do I love you" straight down it because in the score, they are tied whole notes, so i used that to make you, when you read it, have to pause in between each word for a split second. well, maybe ya'll will hear it sometime, (i know that hayley will) but mike said it rocked, and so did barrett so i guess it's a go. i think that this is the longest i have written in a very long time, so i think that i will keep going, because i wlmost never post, and i know that you all love to read my postings... lately, i've been in a rather weird mood, kind of looking at everything from a different level,  like a "what if i die tomarrow," scenario, you know? but i guess, that life goes on, and i might as well, write my spanish essay. 2:45 pm	Wright's lake!!!! so pretty much, I LOVE WRIGHT"S LAKE!!! it is by far the best lake ever!! me and my family went up for the fourth of jully and we vivsited Hayley's Family and canoed!!! and it was soooooo FUNNN!!!!!!!!!!! the best thing about wright's is that the water is so clear!  you can see the bottom from anywhere in the entire lake!
